3 months "IN" and LOVING it!

"I love this business!

I've been in only a tad over 3 months and lifestyle this business and love it. I simply implement my business with my lifestyle in what I do daily. Granted I did not do much in January with it and sold only about $300 worth of 16 oz jars by simply sticking a jar under folks noses that come to my home or my just putting business cards out there with samples as I go about my daily life.

I have a short story to share. Couple weeks ago my son and his brother in law came to my house to paint my master bedroom. As payment I gave them each a 16 oz jar of their choosing I keep on hand, a Mia Bella Bar, and a lotion. No they did not know I was going to do this. My son knew I had gotten into some type of candle business but had not seen them before now.

Anyway they came back yesterday to do some more painting and my son told me he had an order for two 16 oz jars and I happened to have them on hand. This morning he calls up and tells me he has another order for 6 more jars of 16 oz candles and to bring them when I came over today. That is a total of 8 - 16 oz jars in less than a day and simply because I do this business without stress and such and only with the way I live............... life styling.

I sell my 16 oz jars for $22.00 plus tax which put $176 and tax back in my pockets of which half of that was profit. How cool is that. It's nowhere to being a 6 figure income earner but slowly and surely I will be there in a couple years. So adding the $300 plus this $176 for January brings me to almost 500 in sales. It is my lowest month but than again I did not do anything to really promote it in January had to many personal things to take care of but still not bad I don't think.

Now I wonder how well I would really do if I actually did more with it! Hmphm! Guess won't know unless I do more with it now will I. :-)"

Carol posted this testimonial in our team coaching group and I asked her permission to share. She's a great example of what can happen when you put our candles under someone's nose and say "Here-Smell This"!!!
