3 months "IN" and LOVING it!

"I love this business!

I've been in only a tad over 3 months and lifestyle this business and love it. I simply implement my business with my lifestyle in what I do daily. Granted I did not do much in January with it and sold only about $300 worth of 16 oz jars by simply sticking a jar under folks noses that come to my home or my just putting business cards out there with samples as I go about my daily life.

I have a short story to share. Couple weeks ago my son and his brother in law came to my house to paint my master bedroom. As payment I gave them each a 16 oz jar of their choosing I keep on hand, a Mia Bella Bar, and a lotion. No they did not know I was going to do this. My son knew I had gotten into some type of candle business but had not seen them before now.

Anyway they came back yesterday to do some more painting and my son told me he had an order for two 16 oz jars and I happened to have them on hand. This morning he calls up and tells me he has another order for 6 more jars of 16 oz candles and to bring them when I came over today. That is a total of 8 - 16 oz jars in less than a day and simply because I do this business without stress and such and only with the way I live............... life styling.

I sell my 16 oz jars for $22.00 plus tax which put $176 and tax back in my pockets of which half of that was profit. How cool is that. It's nowhere to being a 6 figure income earner but slowly and surely I will be there in a couple years. So adding the $300 plus this $176 for January brings me to almost 500 in sales. It is my lowest month but than again I did not do anything to really promote it in January had to many personal things to take care of but still not bad I don't think.

Now I wonder how well I would really do if I actually did more with it! Hmphm! Guess won't know unless I do more with it now will I. :-)"

Carol posted this testimonial in our team coaching group and I asked her permission to share. She's a great example of what can happen when you put our candles under someone's nose and say "Here-Smell This"!!!

Sweat & Wrapping Paper?

People say the funniest things. Just the other day, while out passing free holiday scent samples, I heard this remark to the scent 'Night Before Christmas':
"Oh, I bet this one's going to smell like 'sweat and wrapping paper!"
For some of us, that's all too true! 'Tis the Season...

A Crazy Idea...worth sharing!

Ever wake up in the morning and realize that somewhere...somehow...you came up with a crazy idea...and you wanted to share it with everyone you know? Well, that is me this morning. Now don't get me wrong, this thought came up a while ago, but it was just that. A passing thought. Until now...

This blog is going to be my avenue of sharing with you much of what I hear on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as I'm out and about working my candle business. Yes, the candles are amazing. They burn clean, smell great...yada, yada, yada. It's not enough to say that "my customers are telling me that these are the BEST performing candles they have ever burned!" Really, you've got to experience that for yourself. I'll give you names, photos, video clips....whatever you need to feel the same rush that comes over me when I hear these words.

My goal is to put you in the "Hot Seat", if you will...to imagine yourself making money with a home based business that is HOT, HOT, HOT! I will show you how. Just listen and learn!

On top of all that, you'll hear from some of the distributors on my team about how they are putting money in their pocket every day because they took a lid off of a jar or handed out a scent sample and simply asked "Do you like scented candles? Well...here...SMELL THIS!"

With that said, I guess it's time to get this show rolling. Get yourself a cup of coffee, tea...whatever it is you drink, and get comfy. We've got a great line-up for you today. LOL

And now....(drumroll, please)....the 1st of MANY testimonials to come...
